Accommodation on Luxury safaris in Tanzania is in Lodges and sometimes Tented Camps. The approximate price range of this accommodation is: U$D 235 – 600 per person, per night. All your food is provided by the lodge.
Lodges are full service facilities with private rooms or cottages with private bathrooms and have restaurants and lounges. Most have swimming pools. Many lodges are architecturally stunning made with local materials and inspired by local designs and the environment.
Tented camps are permanent or semi-permanent camps sited in areas of excellent game viewing. These provide many of the comforts of a lodge within private spacious canvas tents on a solid permanent base with beds and private baths, and high-quality meals. Tented camps are more intimate than lodges as they generally accommodate 12 to 20 guests.

A once in a lifetime experience that I will never tire of. Our guide Benson was instantly friendly, extremely knowledgeable and able to solve any problems. Our best guide was Benson, who speaks the language fluently and helped us learn a lot about the local customs. Our guide was able to answer all our questions about the flora and fauna of the area and the trip was great. We saw animals and beautiful scenery. In short, this holiday was like a dream come true as we were provided with much more food than we expected. Many thanks to Benson and Tanzania Njuri.Posted on Ruslana Mishina2025-05-29Verified WE HAD A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE Tanzania Nzuri took my wife and I on a seven-day tour. From the time of arrival in Tanzania to the time of departure, everything was really well planned. Since our luggage was missing, they even assisted us in getting it back. With his extensive knowledge of the plants and animals, Hamis was an excellent guide. He was a very good, cautious, experienced, and amiable driver. We had a great time on our honeymoon, including the safari.Posted on Arttu Päätalo2025-04-15Verified Incredible Safari Experience "Our safari in Tanzania was simply amazing, thanks to our guide Hamise from Nzuri! His deep knowledge of the wildlife and ecosystems made each moment unforgettable. We saw the Big Five and learned so much about the animals and their behaviors. Highly recommend him!"Posted on Michael G2025-02-13Verified Tarangire national park. Highly recommended! Because there was an extra day for an adventure after climbing Kilimanjaro faster than planned, we decided to do a safari in the Tarangire National park. Our driver and Charles picked us up early in the morning and we went to arusha. From there on we continued driving with the safari jeep to the Tarangire national park. We had a lot of luck on our side and we‘ve seen many different animals. We was very satisfied about the organization of the whole daytrip! After safari, we‘ve slept in a really nice hotel in arusha. At no time there was any concern for our safety and we were able to sit back and enjoy the day.Posted on five8six2025-02-08Verified Tanzania Nzuri – The Partner of Choice for Your Tanzania Safari BackgroundWe were a group of three (German/Austrian) men who had just completed a Kilimanjaro hike in Tanzania. Since we descended a day earlier than planned, we found ourselves with an extra day and decided to make the most of it with a last-minute safari.Overall ExperienceSimply outstanding—from booking to pick-up, the safari itself, and even our hotel after the trip. Everything was handled seamlessly, making it a stress-free and unforgettable experience.Booking ProcessWe had already booked our Kilimanjaro hike with Charles (Tranquil), who also runs safaris under Tanzania Nzuri. At 2 PM, right after coming down from the mountain, we reached out via WhatsApp to inquire about safari options and hotel accommodations for the next day. By that evening, we had everything arranged—a selection of parks, hotel choices, and a clear agenda tailored to our preferences.Charles even came to our hotel personally to finalize the details. He showed great flexibility with payments, allowing us to pay part of the amount in euros since we were short on USD.Pick-Up & TransfersAt 5 AM, as requested by us, Charles and our driver picked us up from our hotel in Moshi. We first drove to Arusha, where we switched from a standard van to a fully equipped safari vehicle.Safari & National Park ExperienceWe internally debated between Ngorongoro and Tarangire and ultimately chose Tarangire due to its shorter driving time and unique wildlife. Charles helped guide our decision with valuable insights, ensuring we made the best choice based on our timeframe. Our safari vehicle was modern, spacious, and well-maintained, and our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the park. He knew all the best spots, was in constant contact with other guides to locate wildlife, and even provided binoculars for us.The experience felt personalized—our guide asked which animals we wanted to "see", adjusted the pace based on our preferences, and even had a wildlife guidebook to provide detailed explanations about the species we encountered. We walked away not only with great memories but also with newfound knowledge about Tanzania’s wildlife and ecosystems.Food & Drinks • Unlimited bottled water was available throughout the trip. • Each of us received a Coke, which was a nice touch. • Our packed lunch was surprisingly delicious, and we enjoyed it at a scenic picnic spot inside the park with our guide.DurationThe entire experience was well-paced: • 5 AM: Pick-up from our hotel • Full day of safari in Tarangire • 5:30 PM: Arrival at our hotel for the nightThis gave us plenty of time in the park without feeling rushed.Hotel StayOur hotel after the safari was fantastic—a lush, green retreat with a beautiful pool, great food, and friendly staff. The majority of guests were Europeans on their way to or from safaris, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.Value for MoneyConsidering that a significant portion of the cost goes towards national park fees, we felt we got exceptional value for our money. The level of service, organization, and personal attention we received made this safari worth every penny.Useful Tips • Wildlife isn’t guaranteed – This is nature, not a zoo! While we were incredibly lucky, keep realistic expectations. • Sun protection is essential – Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. • Tanzania is a malaria zone – Take necessary precautions.Final ThoughtsAfter our incredible Kilimanjaro experience, it was a no-brainer to book our safari with Charles. He personally welcomed us back at the hotel, ensuring that everything ran smoothly. His dedication to customer satisfaction is truly unmatched. If you’re looking for a reliable, professional, and customer-focused safari operator, Tanzania Nzuri is the way to go. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
